Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas, DeviantArt! This has been so far the best Christmas I’ve had in all my twenty years. This year, I’ve tried to give a little more thought into giving others rather than just receive. Now I’ve been buying gifts for others for years, but more often than not I’ve had to rely on other’s suggestions and their money to assist in these purchases. This year, I’ve tried to do it on my own. However, while it was not as successful as I would have liked it to be, finding the gifts or at least at reasonable, yet low enough prices (after all, I may have a job, but I still need to get enough so I can live on my own one day) at least the thought counted well enough. I decided to work on a strategy of not only sending my gift ideas through, but also receive other’s wishlists too, and thanks to Amazon.com, it worked out fairly enough.

This season, I’ve had more eggnog than I’ve had before. Funny enough, I wasn’t even in the least interested in having eggnog because I thought the taste might not be so pleasant. However, at least around last year, I’ve tried it and it tastes absolutely lovely. Another food I haven’t had for a time because I didn’t like it was ham! Can you believe it? Although over the past few months, I’ve enjoyed ham as a sandwich, but not as a Christmas dinner. This is the very first year I’ve had ham for Christmas dinner and I loved it! I enjoyed a good meal of ham, sweet potatoes, fried apple slices, a cinnamon roll, and lastly eggnog; the sweetest Christmas dinner in all my life.

Well, there plenty of good things that I had for this year: some nice sweaters and T-shirts—many of which are Star Wars themed—some glass jewel paperweights, a pair of military boots—I’ve got a combat uniform, but I don’t know where the pants are and I don’t have a soldier’s cap to go with them—but most importantly, I got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the Mac, a mug with the Imperial logo on it, and a treasure for many Star Wars fans: Star Wars: The Original Radio Drama. I’ve listened to it on YouTube until large portions of it were removed. I’d love to hear the rest of it and the other two audio dramas of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi which I am so anxious to hear from. And this Christmas isn’t over quite yet; I’ve still got to go over to Grandma Judy’s and celebrate there. Anyway, I wish all of you a happy holiday!
