Well, I've finally got it! And on my second try too yesterday. The first time was back in September and I didn't do so well. This time, I've passed the driver's test and now, I feel good about how I can drive myself anywhere. I should write more journal entries so that people can lend me a hand and help me keep track of some of my goals and present a few ideas. I need to get a job now and I need to work on my English 1 too. I also need more motivation to work on Chapter 14 of my story. If anybody can send me some links to horror chapters, particularly ones that involve the character alone in the darkness and for Lt. Reese, she's seeking out the attacker.
*SPOILERS* What I plan for this chapter, Reese's squad finds Cmdr. Brody's squad to be missing. They search for the strike force when Cmdr. Dallas orders them back up to the primary section to regroup. Reese is still searching for the Alien and then she finds it, much to her horror. After a lengthy fight, she kills it only to find herself with an encounter with the Facehugger.
If anybody has any suggestions on what I should tell in this chapter, what the characters are feeling in this chapter, maybe have an argument between the crewmen on trying to save their ship or to save themselves, any new situations that anybody can come up with, I will hear.

Recovering From Sickness
So I’ve been sick for nearly two weeks now: a fever, dizziness, constant coughing during the night, along with other symptoms. Fortunately, I am getting better, and my voice is slowly getting back to normal. Whatever I went through was no fun at all, but I’m very, very glad it’s nearly over now, particularly the coughing.

Missing Aunt Paula
Last Friday, and yesterday, I attended my aunt-in-law’s wake and funeral. She passed away on December 15th, after a long and sustain battle with cancer from September of last year. Aunt Paula was expected to last for six months, but she fought for twelve. I had hoped to give her a Christmas cards before she would pass away, but I never sent it to her or my biological uncle, Arnie until after she passed away.
The wake didn’t seem like too much of a big deal to me; just her friends and family attending. But it wasn’t until the funeral when I really started to feel the emotions get to me, if only for a short time. There was eu
